Off Dinas Head. Amazing this am. Absolutely stuffed with Guillemots & Razorbills. The Guillemots at the foot of the stack must have been standing on each others feet. And all continuosly coming & going to a constant whirring sound. Big rafts on the sea. My (very inaccurate) estimate was of 300 Razorbills & 450 Guillemots.
A Tawny Owl calling at Cwm yr Eglwys.
Yesterday at Newport the 2 Barwits were the main interest. The PO22 swan pair seem to have given up defending the bridge for less stressed mooching by the Boat Club.
A kestrel hovering over Dinas.
