Angle Bay

At Kilpaison this morning a couple of hours before high tide a juvenile Peregrine was tearing around creating havoc. Perhaps not surprisingly after this display there were not a lot of waders to be seen. There were quite a few Curlew and Oystercatchers , a few Black Headed Gulls and 2 Common Gulls but very few small waders with just 5 Dunlin, 1 Redshank and the Knot pictured which, with a fair bit of Summer plumage left, brightened up a cold windy morning.
At Angle Harbour a few Curlew and no waders at Freshwater West.
