Last Saturday morning, about 8am a large gannet flock was diving repeatedly into shallow water just of Newgale Beach. There must have been 50 birds, with groups of upto 20 at a time "funnelling" down into a single spot. A huge raft of gulls was also present but I had no bins so could not see what species or what they were doing.....nearest I've seen to an "Attenborough moment" in Pembs!!
