Preseli moorlands

Very little in the way of birds around the moorlands today. Lesser Redpolls at Brynberian moor, a Willow Tit at Ty Rhyg and a large flock of Mistle Thrush at Gors Fawr.
However, the day did have a highlight but it was an insect. A good record of a male Southern damselfly found by Paul at Gors Fawr. It is on the red data list and the Preselis are one of only a few places in Britain where it can be found.
Some other notable species seen today were 2 Scarce Blue-tailed damselflies, Black Darters and many Keeled Skimmers.
