stonechat migration

There is apparently only one ringing recovery so far of a stonechat ringed in Pembs (51 years ago!):

86334 Adult Female 23-09-1960 Skokholm: 51°42'N 5°16'W (Dyfed)

Dead 08-11-1960
Badolatosa: 37°19'N 4°40'W (Sevilla)
Spain 1,599km

Maybe it's time to make a concerted effort to ring more. They certainly seem to clear off altogether in the hard weather, but in mild winters are relatively easy to find here still.
