Hi - a description from a gentleman who lives in Stackpole of what sounds like the first Bosherston bittern of the winter. It was a "mystery bird" description. Below the site of Stackpole court, evening, 3-4- days ago, on the edge of the reedbed, "heron sized, brown, speckled in front, strong flier". When I suggested reedbed-coloured, points head skywards, he eagerly agreed.
