Bosherston

Quite good for migrants today at Bosherston despite the dull, cool weather after a week of glorious sunshine. Over the western arm of the ponds there were 16 Sand Martins and a Swallow and I heard 3 Blackcaps singing. Chiffchaffs all over the place. 3 Goosander provided a touch of winter to match the temperature whilst two Otters showed up at the Grassy Bridge seeming a little nervous (see Pembrokeshire Wildlife blog).
I received a report of 56 brent Geese at Kilpaison - presumably the Gann birds having moved over to join the 20 or so I saw at Kilpaison a few days ago.
