Great Grey Shrike - Ty Rhyg

Spent a lovely afternoon mostly watching the shrike. It spent most of the time on the willow along the track mostly watching out for things to eat. During the hour or so I was watching it caught 2 lizards and a bumblebee. It eventually moved off in direction of pond allowing me to pass. The whole place was alive with chiffchaffs doing what they do best and what looked good for a Willow warbler. On my return whilst talking to Paddy and his son the shrike appeared on its favourite perch, before moving off south of the track.
