What surprised me this afternoon was 7 Ringed Plover in the field to the West of the YHA - the footpath to the clifftop.
As Rosemary said good numbers of Hirundines, I`ve never seen so many House Martins there before. A total of 24 Whimbrel, c10 Wheatears & 1 Lesser Whitethroat popping up in the bushes along the track.
I saw 3 Glossies, but I`m so used to seeing only three that I quickly scanned past them, tomorrow morning will see me paying more attention!
