Yesterday at Newport beach a flock of 15 Sanderlings (including 1 apparently still in Winter plumage) & 3 Dunlin.
Donovan & Rees' latest date for Spring passage was June 11, but recent annual reports have several later dates (without details) up to June 30.
I saw no sign of the small Shelduck brood, which were still there on Sunday.
