I contacted the RSPB to tell them of a sighting of a wryneck in our garden yesterday and they suggested I contact you. I attach a photo I took yesterday. The wryneck stayed in our garden eating the ants all afternoon and roosted in the fruit tree. I have not seen it today which is just as well as our neighbour's cat was in the garden this morning.
We (my husband and I) live near Cardigan and we were very excited to see a wryneck, have never seen one before. Thought you would like to know. Unfortunately only saw one but it looked healthy.
