Dale & Marloes Area

Just to prove that the Glossy Ibis is not a figment of Derek G's imagination here is photographic evidence. It flew across Marloes Mere early afternoon landing quite close to the path near the end of the pool in front of the Britton Hide. Otherwise pretty quiet at the Mere.
Earlier at The Deer Park there were loads of Grey Seal pups on the beaches and a flock of 19 Chough some of which spent ages playing in the air currents across the cliff face, later feeding on the cliff top. In the bushes at the bottom of Sash's garden a Goldcrest and a Blackcap.
Earlyish morning at Dale Airfield it was also very quiet with just 2 Wheatears and 3 Stonechats. Ditto at St. Anne's Head - a few Pied Wagtails and 3 Wheatears.
