Two or three Bramblings in a mixed finch flock near the entrance to Gupton Farm this morning, also a Jack Snipe upstream from the bridge at Freshwater West, and a decent Starling roost at the Corse this evening. Elsewhere, an adult Mediterranean Gull was on West Angle Beach, and a Chiffchaff and a few Goldcrests were in the garden at Orielton. Generally, there was a notable increase in the number of finches and Skylarks in the area today.
