Fairly quiet here this morning: a pair of Reed Buntings, the now-resident Robins, Gold- and Chaffinches. Highlights were a late male Wheatear on the Deer Park wall and a female/immature Merlin near West Hook Farm. The Chough flock is around 15 birds; there are also an unusually large number of Jackdaws at present. The two species do not seem to get on, and the Chough seem to move field when the Jackdaws arrive.
