Following Ray's post, I dropped by, hoping to find Snipe for this year but no luck. In exchange, got male Pintail as a new life tick! Viewed from the car park next door to the pub. Also 1 Meadow pipit, close by (unusual brownish tint on upper chest, pale legs), 1 Moorhen, 3+ Mallard pairs, 2 Carrion crows pacing a raised grass patch (1 carrying a short twig, 1 carrying a pebble in their beaks), 20+ Teal, 3 Pied Wagtail. 9 Curlew flew in as the light diminished.
