The female Velvet Scoter was still off Broad Haven this morning with c200 Scoter and 4 Red-throated Diver.A search of Fishguard for Waxwings proved unproductive(Plenty now in Wales and as close as Llanelli) but a Great Northern Diver and 7 Red-throated Diver in the harbour were nice.Late afternoon saw me at the Dowrog Common and again a Short-eared Owl was showing wonderfully in good light,3 Hen Harriers(2 male) and a Merlin put on a fantastic show at dusk.
