Gann; Plenty of water in the pools. 11 snipe flying around.
Dale airfield: c300 lapwing, flock of chaffinch, linnet and skylark, with a scattering of thrushes (song and redwing). Highlight was a hen harrier (ringtail) flicking up and down the banks and lines of gorse. And a fine Peregrine at West Dale. Blackcap on the ivy on the road down.
