The rare sight of snow on the island this morning heralded the arrival of around 70 redwing (first of the year), 300+ starlings and 30+ song thrush. No additional waders though, just the 'resident' 7 lapwing and a single snipe. No sign of the previously resident black redstart for a few days now.
