Belated notes of yesterday's visit to Wiseman's Bridge following computer mishap.
Encouraged by the weather conditions (light northery winds with sufficient cloud cover that limited sea sun-dazzle, though bright enough for distant scoping) I spent much of the afternoon working through the large number of Scoter flocks visible off Wiseman's Bridge.
Of note: a single female Long-tailed Duck, and a single female Scaup. Two Goldeneye were close inshore. 3 Great-crested Grebes and a single Red-throated Diver were seen within the Scoter flocks but no Red-breasted Mergansers.
