On the Carew River this morning by Carew Mill the Spotted Redshank in company with 2 Greenshanks and 6 Common Redshanks. A little further downstream 10 Black-tailed Godwits and several hundred Lapwing and Golden Plover as well as 60+ Teal and 1 Little Egret.
And from Ian McKenney - Can I add about 15 Curlew and several Widgeon to the birds seen at Carew
(just after midday). Saw 2 Shellduck , 1 little egret and several
redshank at Radford Pill, plus a flock of about 50 Curlew lifting off
from a field nearby.
