2 Laps today usual spot sw of pond. As per Derek flock of 86 Golden plover, with 20 lapwings. Much drier only 3 snipe. Flock of starling came head height followed by a peregrine. A few Pied wagtails and dozen Meadow pipits on the runway. Gann - 3 GC grebe and a Great Northern out beyond the gull roost.
Earlier at Pantmaenog, very quiet many of the ponds are thick with ice, 2 crossbill over (first I've seen or heard for a while). 2 pairs raven and pair of Kites soaring side by side over car park. Rosebush res: 4 herons, pair goldeneye, 10 teal, 6 mallard, pair Tufties, 4 Little grebe.
