Marloes Mere & Gann

An enjoyable work party today at Marloes, National Trust are keen to improve the site for, and for watching, birds.  So more to do in the future, but for now hopefully better views from the Britton Hide.  As well as the drake Ring-necked Duck on the northern irrigation pond and the 4 Pink-feet flying around, I saw the Glossy Ibis in flight in the N/E corner early afternoon.  On to the Gann where the Long-billed Dowitcher was back in its usual spot - please don't park on the bend, either park about 100m further on the right hand side, or at the main Gann car park and walk back.  Also some nice display action from a couple of drake Goldeneye on the lagoon,
