The wintering female was off the north end of Amroth this morning with 18 Red-breasted Mergansers, a good count i thought.In addition to Rich's waders at Tenby there were 4 Red-throated Divers offshore, including one in almost summer plumage which was rather special.Such a shame the Surf Scoters couldn't be seen from Amroth.
