Nothing on the Mere, not even one Glossy, however walking down the track to the beach (Sandy lane)in the field to the left, which had recently been muck spread, were a couple of hundred gulls that looked interesting so I scanned through them hoping to find a White Winger - one did fly in, but it had two or three black spots on the outer primaries that reminded me of a second winter Med Gull. It promptly vanished as they were feeding, leap-frogging over each other, moving up the field. The whole flock flew past me some 15 mins later on the cliff top by Gateholm, heading towards Skomer, but I couldn`t find it again. Stumped!
