Still one Sandwich Tern offshore this afternoon also 18 Common Scoters, a Red-throated and a Great Northern Diver. A solitary Gannet showed no apparent interest in two Porpoises but a group of 7 first winter Herring Gulls did, hovering and fluttering above them, apparently just following their progress with no dipping down to the surface of the sea, so probably just curious rather than looking for a meal.
