From Alastair Proud - Some observations from Newport area, Sunday 31st
March.
Comma butterfly along by estuary, teal in small
numbers, pair wigeon, redshank, shelduck, curlew and pair greylag geese.
On the cliffs 2 ring ouzel, 12+ wheatears, 2 pairs chough, kestrel, stonechats,
2 willow warblers, meadow pipits and female black redstart.
In addition 2 hares and fox. Also sighting of comet Panstarrs as we returned to
the car, a good day!
