Hazy, mild and tide half down created a calm atmospheric period full of birds. Waders dominated with c300 Dunlins, c40 Golden Plovers, 28 Lapwings, 6 Redshanks, single Oystercatcher and Curlew and a surprise at this locality a flock of 38 Black-tailed Godwits. Add 44 Teal, 5 Shelduck, 3 Little Grebes and 2 Cormorants, all adding up to a pleasant afternoon.
