Still a fair showing of birds on the falling tide, predominantly 148 Teals and c320 Dunlins but also 5 Shelducks, 4 Mallards, 3 Cormorants and a single Curlew, a Lapwing and a Greenshank. Two Greylags flew high overhead towards Fowborough uttering a contact call which hitherto I've only associated with migrating birds, first experienced with geese departing over the Butt of Lewis heading for Iceland but also once in Pembrokeshire from a flock passing Strumble Head.
