Silver beauties!

A walk around the outer breakwater was chilly but springlike and i was hoping for a wheater or a glimpse of the long staying black redstasrt but could find neither. Probably a more reliable indicator of spring was a male rock pippit performing its "parachute" display and singing, a dull bird in many ways but the song flight makes up for it!
Later on as I was watching some very distant bottlenose dolphins, a single alba /white wagtail flew in off the sea its call attracting my attention. Surely they should be renamed "silver" wagtails, it really shone coming in off the sea in the low clear sunlight!
