(yesterday,17th March)
On holiday from Devon staying in Bosherston.
Superb sunny weather so just walked and walked in the stunning Pembrokeshire scenery.
Heard first Chiffchaff singing at Bosherston (am) and also saw Otter very well (dog otter?) at the Lily Ponds.
Also 9 Goosander across two ponds (3 male, 6 red head) from a peak of 13 last night and 2 Little Grebe.
Saw 2 Chough east of Stack Rocks.
5 Razorbill seen at Stackpole Head close in shore plus 2 Shag - one on nest at the green bridge of Wales.
Also heard 3 Skylarks singing - first of the year for me. Finally Raven on nest near Stack Rocks with at least 3 noisy chicks seen!
No Wheatears but I note 2 were seen at St Govans which we missed.
All in all though a good full day in sunny Pembrokeshire.
