St Florence & Radford Pill

Making the most of another sunny morning I walked along the Ritec on the outskirts of St Florence. 3 Water rail were the highlight as well as a couple of Snipe and 18 Teal.

Middayish I spent a couple of hours at Radford Pill. Very quiet here with just a few Redshank, 1 Greenshank and a Curlew. Also a Little Egret with magnificent plumes. It took great exception to another Egret further downsteam and spent some time chasing it off.
