W Cleddau

Stopped off at Wolf's Castle to see if the river level had dropped following the recent dry weather. It had and the Dipper was in its usual spot beneath the A40 road bridge but with more solid perches available than when seen there three weeks ago.

A Red Kite at about 50 feet leisurely followed the river downstream imperviously passing over the gardens, housing and traffic. Think we'll have to guard our sandwiches this summer?
