Just after 1pm If you go seawards from The Webley Arms there is a small place to park on your right.
About 100 yards along there are stepping stones over a stream. The bird was 30 yards downstream.
It was in company with 3 Rock Pipits which were bathing in the fresh water and sunning themselves. The Water Pipit came onto the mud on my side of the stream. It was paler, less speckled, and seemed slightly larger than the Rock Pipits. It had a brilliant white outer tail feather.
