It was pleasant sitting by the flagpoles for an hour this afternoon. A steady passage of Swallows and Sand Martins headed northwards throughout the time. On the beach were the usual Oystercatchers plus 3 Turnstones, 4 Ringed Plovers and a Dunlin and out on the water 2 Brent Geese and a pair of Shovelers.
