Mere this morning - Ring-necked Duck on the rear right hand pool as
viewed from the car park. Pair of Garganey viewed from the track about
15m beyond the main hide. Several Chiffchaff present, including 2 viewed from the main hide feeding on floating vegetation.

Airfield mid afternoon - 1 Lapland Bunting associating with Linnets in
an area of broken concrete lumps at the western end of the southernmost
runway. Also 3 Wheatear.
