Marloes Mere & Martin's Haven

A nice walk from Martin's Haven along the coast to Marloes Mere, and back along the road.  A Short-eared Owl flushed from open-access field to the south of Martin's Haven was a nice surprise.  3 male Wheatear & 2 Stonechat in the field above Rath Cottage.  At the mere, the Glossy Ibis did a brief flight at the west end before dropping into cover again, and the drake Ring-necked Duck was with 5 Tufted Duck (4 drakes) on the northern irrigation pond, viewable from the car park.  The Marsh Harrier was seen today, as reported in the hide logbook.  Also a Greenshank, which would be a site tick for me I think!
