Radford Pill, Carew
From Ian Bartlett - Walked again this evening along Radford Pill. Saw 2 groups of Black-tailed godwit out on Carew river; one group of 48 and one of 4. Several birds breaking into summer plumage. Flushed out a Jack Snipe along the footpath near Ford pill which quickly disappeared into the marsh grass. Also 1 striking male Wheatear within a group of meadow pipit near there which looked very lost. Also saw 1 peregrine circling, 2 buzzard, 1 egret and 1 greenshank in amongst numerous redshank.
