A Whimbrel was my first this spring, also 10 Ringed Plovers, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Turnstone, 1 Sanderling, 4 Dunlin, 1 Curlew and a Sandwich Tern was in the bay. Of interest the Curlew took an extreme dislike to the Whimbrel and wouldn't rest until the Whimbrel had cleared off.
