Pencarnan Report

This day in 2011 we recorded the 1st Grasshopper Warbler for the year, and on the 8th (tomorrow), the first Whitethroat. Looking at today's synoptic charts there does not seem to be a delivery system any day now. What a contrast!

If there is a hint of "warbler weather", then it was articulated in the song of a Willow Warbler in Porthselau Valley, here on the campsite, early this morning.

Nil Swallows today, though 3 were logged at Point St John yesterday along with a Black Redstart.

4 Darties seen in the regular site in the St Davids area.
