Ramsey

Good numbers of willow warblers and blackcaps this morning plus the first real movement of goldcrests this year. 2 Greenland wheatears and a redpoll too. A snipe was quite a late record for out here. Whitethroats singing today for first time today. Looks like we've got a pair of kestrel nesting again this year and possibly a 3rd pair of peregrine.

Chough finally settled down after the late start and we have 8 territories with 7 having nest built. Most are incubating now but not all so it remains to be seen if these late pairs see it through.
