Ventured out to the Head despite the drizzle and general murk and was glad I made the effort. The Woodchat Shrike was easily refound at the back of Porthmelgan Beach at about 9:40 and showed well given the conditions. Must have wished it was back in the South. Also at least 17 White Wagtails on the Golf Course but no Yellows today: 7 Whimbrels in fields in the area. Still a dozen Wheatears present too but not much moving.
