I missed the Subalpine by about 1 minute, arriving just after it was last seen at around 5:35. Perhaps I should have run up from the car park, as I did for the Western Bonelli's Warbler! I think this is the 5th Subalpine I have dipped in Pembrokeshire in 25 years. Hopefully Mike's next Western Warbler find at SDH will be of the Olivaceous variety. The female (?) Woodchat Shrike showed briefly but well about 100m up the valley from Porth Melgan beach at around 7pm.
