Subalpine Warbler

The Subalpine Warbler was still active mid afternoon, often returning to the small patch of scrub just below the footbridge and immediately above Porth Melgan beach.  Could also be seen either side of the coastal path for c.100m or so along the coast towards St David's Head.  Record shot above, taken in the murk and gloom of spring day in west Wales.  Also, c10 Wheatears in the area, a male Blackcap, several Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers. and three Swifts passing through with the hirundines.
