Today

The day started well at Marloes Mere where the Ring-necked Duck, the pair of Garganey and the Glossy Ibis were all on site. A steady passage of Chiffchaffs had at least one singing Willow Warbler with them and a White Wagtail was around the cattle. At Dale Airfield late afternoon 4 Lapland Buntings fed near the broken concrete at the west end of the main runway. A Peacock butterfly was on the road to the airfield and another was at the Gann (my first butterflies of the spring).
