Warbler and Shrike

As Dave has reported the male Western Subalpine Warbler and the Woodchat Shrike were showing well to early afternoon at least behind Porth Melgan beach. Managed a few record shots, and Mark Hipkin got some better ones on my blog here: http://mikesbirdnotes.blogspot.co.uk/   Also a Yellow Wagtail flew over the Youth Hostel and there was a bright female Whinchat on the Airfield later.

This is the first Pembs record of Western Subalpine Warbler since Steve Votier's on Ramsey in 2009, unless there was one last year I can't recall. It appears to be the first mainland record.
