East Blockhouse peninsula alive with birds this morning - admittedly mostly dunnocks and linnets but a big improvement on recent weeks. I spent some time watching a
firecrest feeding energetically along the newly diverted section of coast path in the NE corner where it runs through stunted blackthorn, elder etc. woodland. Several chiffchaffs inc. 1 singing and defending territory. Only 1 wheatear in evidence but several stonechats.
