Angle

At Kilpaison this morning it was blowing hard and cold. 5 Whimbrel and 2 Curlew on the beach and passage of small waders seems to be gathering pace with c.120 Dunlin moving restlessly up and down the beach feeding feverishly. Amongst them 3 Sanderling with one coming into summer plumage.

At Angle Harbour a further 3 Whimbrel, 6 Redshank, a couple of Dunlin and a lone Sanderling.
