Felindre herons

A check of Janet's herons at Felindre revealed 4 occupied nests yesterday, some probably with small chicks. I was amazed how unobtrusive they were with nests barely the size of a rook's nests and the great gangly incubating adults managing to fold themselves up and remain almost completely hidden from the ground. They were keeping a beady out for intruders though.
