Gann

Late afternoon/early evening a similar selection to Derek.  The drake Red-breasted Merganser was on the river.  25 Whimbrel, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 3 Curlew and 13 Dunlin.  A pair of Mallard on the lagoon was unusual at this site; 2 Sandwich Terns came in across the bay where a single Gannet looked for food far too close to shore for my liking - had it dived in that shallow water I think it would have hit the bottom!  2 lovely male Wheatear near the outlet from the lagoon.
