Mainly Marloes Mere

Glossy Ibis in the middle of the Mere at 1845. Very large numbers of Swallows (200+?) and Sand Martins (50-70), but only 3 Swifts and 2 House Martins. Still, nice to get a Hurundine hat trick.

Martin's Haven feels really empty: one Goldcrest in the sallows, a male Whitethroat displaying below Lockley Lodge.

The Gann last night: 2 Shelduck, 1-2 Whimbrel and c5 Curlew on the foreshore, a Great Northern Diver preening furiously offshore. Possibly a 1W bird just coming into summer plumage.
